Abstract:
Provided is a metal sheet forming limit determination technology which quantitatively determines a forming limit by reducing variation. The metal sheet forming limit determination method comprises: a forming test step for forming a test piece while imaging the surface of the test piece on which an arbitrary lattice or a pattern for strain analysis is displayed, analyzing images that are sequentially imaged during the forming, measuring strains occurring in a metal sheet, and storing the measured strains in time series from the start of the forming to fractures to establish a strain database; a forming limit analysis step for setting, on the test piece, an evaluation point sequence for acquiring the distribution of the strains around fracture sections; and a step for extracting, from the strain database, strains in the position of the evaluation point sequence in an arbitrary forming step, wherein a strain approximation curve corresponding to the position of the evaluation point sequence is calculated from the extracted strains, and the forming limit is determined on the basis of approximation errors obtained by taking, as the approximation errors, the differences between the strains from the strain approximation curve and the strains measured from the image analysis.
