Abstract:

The present invention relates to a novel metallocene compound, a catalyst composition comprising same, and a method for producing olefin polymer by means of the catalyst composition. The metallocene compound and the catalyst composition comprising same according to the present invention can be used when producing olefin polymer, have superb polymerizability, and can produce an ultra-high molecular weight olefin polymer. In particular, when the metallocene compound according to the present invention is utilized, a high level of polymeric activity is exhibited even when carried in a carrier, a highly active state is maintained even in the presence of hydrogen due to low reactivity thereto, and can produce olefin polymer having a ultra-high molecular weight.
