Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a (meth)acrylate-terminated polycarbonate oligomer which has satisfactory compatibility with polyfunctional (meth)acrylic monomers and satisfactory solubility in solvents and which comes to have excellent wear resistance through curing, the oligomer being useful as a raw material for ultraviolet-curable (meth)acrylic resins for use as or in ultraviolet-curable hardcoat materials. Provided as a means for solving the problem is a (meth)acrylate-terminated polycarbonate oligomer characterized by being represented by formula (1) and/or formula (2) and having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) in the range of 300-10,000.
