Provided are a method and an apparatus for controlling the output of an ultrasonic transducer, the method according to one aspect of the present invention controlling the output of an ultrasonic transducer on the base of blood flow change information, of the area of the body with which the transducer comes into contact, to prevent damage to the skin, such as a burn, during an ultrasound treatment and such others.
