Abstract:

A method and apparatus for controlling a washing machine, and a washing machine and a storage medium. The method comprises: during the process of a washing machine (101) running in the current washing program, receiving a washing program change instruction sent by a terminal device (102); according to a pre-set determination logic and the washing program change instruction, changing the current washing program without pausing the running of the current washing program; and controlling the washing machine (101) to continue running in a changed washing program. In the embodiments, during the running process of the washing machine (101), a washing machine program can be flexibly changed without needing to pause the washing machine (101), such that the problem of the washing machine (101) being damaged due to the fact that the washing machine (101) is paused during the running process of the washing machine (101) can be solved, the efficiency of changing the washing machine program is improved, and the operation of changing the washing program by a user is simplified, thereby bringing about convenience to the user, and improving the usage experience of the user.
