A method and apparatus for detecting whether an image is tampered with, and an electronic device. The method comprises: acquiring an original random number (210); using a linear relationship between a random number and an image color and a linear relationship between an image color and a parameter value of an imaging sensor parameter to calculate a parameter value of the original random number that corresponds to the imaging sensor parameter, and setting the imaging sensor parameter on the basis of the calculated parameter value (220); after an image to be verified that is collected by a configured imaging sensor is acquired, using the linear relationship between a random number and an image color to calculate a verification random number corresponding to the image to be verified (230); and by means of comparing the verification random number with the original random number, and on the basis of a change situation of the verification random number and the original random number, determining whether the image to be verified is tampered with (240).
