Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of air conditioners, and in particular relates to a method and apparatus for determining an air output area of an indoor unit of an air conditioner. The present invention aims to solve the problem in an existing control method for an air deflection apparatus of an indoor unit of an air conditioner of it being possible to cause the air deflection apparatus to need to frequently perform unnecessary adjustments when a person frequently moves within a small-range area. For this purpose, in the present invention, when it is detected that there is a person in a historical residence area, an air output area of an indoor unit of an air conditioner is determined on the basis of the historical residence area in which there is a person. Therefore, the problem of when a person takes a rest or moves into historical residence areas, such as an area in which a sofa is located, an area in which a bed is located, an area in which a desk is located, and an area in which a dining table is located, an air output area of an indoor unit of an air conditioner being frequently and unnecessarily adjusted due to small-range movements of the person is avoided, such that, given that the adjustment process of the air output area of the indoor unit of the air conditioner is simple and stable, the requirements of a user for air moving with the person when performing heating, and preventing the air from blowing onto the person during cooling are met.
