Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for determining a projection area, a projection device, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining a wall surface image of a target wall surface captured by a photographing device (S210); performing clustering processing on the wall surface image to obtain multiple clustered image areas of the wall surface image (S220); extracting, from the multiple clustered image areas, a maximum pixel contiguous area that satisfies a projection size ratio of a picture to be projected (S230); and using a wall surface area on the target wall surface corresponding to the maximum pixel contiguous area as an optimal projection area of the picture to be projected (S240). Thus, the optimal projection area, satisfying the projection size ratio without the presence of an undesired object or mixed colors, for the picture to be projected is automatically obtained from the target wall surface, so that an optimal projection effect is obtained.
