Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of computers, and in particular to an information flow technique, an intelligent recommendation technique, and a software application technique. Provided are a method and apparatus for displaying an information flow on a terminal device, an electronic device, a computer-readable storage medium, and a computer program product. The implementation solution comprises: in response to detecting an activation operation on an application for displaying an information flow, reproducing, on a terminal device, a first page displayed on the terminal device when the application was switched to run in the background or closed last time; and in response to determining that a time interval between the activation operation and the last time the application was switched to run in the background or closed does not exceed a first threshold, continuing to display a second page in a content entry displayed in the first page, wherein the second page comprises at least one first content entry that is cached in the terminal device before the activation operation but is not displayed in the first page.
