Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a modification initiator, the method being capable of minimizing side reactions and obtaining the modification initiator with a high conversion rate, and to an apparatus for preparing a modification initiator to implement the method. The present invention provides a method for preparing a modification initiator, the method comprising the steps of: reacting a first fluid and a second fluid, the first fluid containing a modification functional group-containing compound and a conjugated diene-based monomer, the second fluid containing a polymerization initiation functional group-containing compound (S1); and obtaining a third fluid containing a modification initiator prepared by the reaction in step (S1), wherein the modification functional group-containing compound is used at the ratio exceeding 1 mole relative to 1 mole of the polymerization initiation functional group-containing compound and the conjugated diene-based monomer is used at the ratio of 1-4 moles relative to 1 mole of the modification functional group-containing compound, and steps (S1) and (S2) are consecutively performed.
