An operation method of a transmitting apparatus in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: obtaining, by a radio link control (RLC) entity, a plurality of RLC data protocol data units (PDUs); generating, by the RLC entity, an ARQ PDU corresponding to an RLC data PDU set including at least one of the plurality of RLC data PDUs, according to resource allocation; transmitting, by a medium access control (MAC) layer to a receiving apparatus through a lower layer, a first MAC PDU generated on the basis of the RLC data PDU set and the ARQ PDU; and when a predetermined condition is satisfied, receiving a STATUS PDU associated with the RLC data PDU set, wherein the ARQ PDU may comprise information for processing an operation related to the RLC data PDU set.
