Abstract:
Embodiments of the present description provide a method and apparatus for running an application program, and a GPU node. The GPU node comprises a server, at least one client, and at least one piece of GPU hardware. After the application program is started and run on the client, the client obtains the first version information of a specified API interface, in a dynamic link library, required for the running of the application program, and transmits an API instruction execution request containing the first version information to the server. The server uses the first version information and second version information in a local driver to perform API interface adaptation, uses an adapted API interface to access the GPU hardware so as to execute an API instruction, and then returns an API instruction execution result to the client.
