Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for setting a motion mode, realizing accurate identification of a swim mode by an intelligent device, such that the intelligent device can accurately record and process swim related motion data for a user. The specific solution comprises: taking two metal terminals on an outer surface of an intelligent device as an output end and a receiving end for a signal, respectively, and determining whether the intelligent device currently satisfies a pre-set condition by means of comparing a sent signal of the output end with a received signal of the receiving end; further determining whether first motion feature data matches pre-set motion feature data corresponding to a swim mode by means of acquiring the first motion feature data detected by a motion sensing apparatus; and when the results of the two determinations are yes, being able to determine that the intelligent device satisfies a set condition of the swim mode.
