Abstract:
A method by which a V2X communication device in a vehicle acquires position information of the vehicle through V2I communication is disclosed. Particularly, the method for acquiring position information of the vehicle comprises the steps of: receiving, from a first road side unit (RSU), a first V2I message including position information, transmission power information, and coverage information of the first RSU; acquiring reception power of the first V2I message; and acquiring region information of the vehicle on the basis of the reception power and the coverage of the first RSU, wherein the region information can indicate whether the vehicle is located within the coverage of the first RSU or indicate a specific region in the coverage of the first RSU.
