Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a method for automatically switching a Bluetooth audio encoding method and an electronic apparatus, relating to the technical field of short-distance communication, for improving the audio experience of a user using an electronic Bluetooth apparatus, and meeting user requirements relating to tone quality and time delay. A specific solution comprises: when a first apparatus transmits a Bluetooth audio data packet to a second apparatus, and when a first application is running, the audio data packet transmitted by the first apparatus to the second apparatus is encoded by means of a first Bluetooth encoding method; and when a second application is running, the audio data packet transmitted by the first apparatus to the second apparatus is encoded by means of a second Bluetooth encoding method, wherein the Bluetooth encoding method comprises a high tone quality mode, a standard mode, or a low time delay mode, and the first Bluetooth encoding method is different from the second Bluetooth encoding method.
