The inventive method for combusting wood waste and utilising the heat thus obtained, the inventive device for carrying out said method provided with a combustion chamber and the inventive method for the lining thereof relate to heat engineering and can be used for combusting a wet fuel, namely steamed waste from the wood processing industries, The inventive methods and devices make it possible to efficiently utilise the waste of wood processing industries without the preparation thereof and received directly from a conveyor and to efficiently accumulate heat for the use thereof at home and in industry. Said combustion method consists in organising a flue gas flow and a heat carrier flow in an opposite direction with respect to each other in such a way that they successively pass the pipes of an economiser and a heat exchanger. The inventive device is embodied in the form of a heat generator which comprises said economiser and heat exchanger and is also provided with combustion and expansion chambers coated thereinside with a heat insulating material arranged in a certain manner on the metallic walls thereof.
