Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for controlling a clothes treatment apparatus comprising: a tub for accommodating washing water; a drum rotatably provided in the tub; a driving part for driving the drum; and a sub drum detachably coupled to the inner peripheral surface of the drum, and performing the washing of laundry separately from the drum while rotating integrally with the drum, the method including a position control step of setting a predetermined region of the sub drum to a target position by the rotation of the sub drum, wherein, in the position control step, the braking of the sub drum starts when the predetermined region reaches a braking position, such that the predetermined region is set to the target position, and the braking position is set to be different according to the size of the load applied to the driving part.
