Abstract:
The present application provides a method for controlling a transmit power and a communication device. The method comprises: obtaining a transmit power threshold of a radio frequency device in a first time period according to the temperature of the radio frequency device in the first time period and an operating temperature threshold of the radio frequency device; and controlling the transmit power of the radio frequency device in the first time period to be less than or equal to the transmit power threshold in the first time period. By means of the method, a baseband unit apparatus may determine a transmit power threshold by means of the temperature of a radio frequency device, and allow the transmit power threshold of the radio frequency device to dynamically change along with a real-time temperature change of the radio frequency device; thus, limitation of the transmit power threshold on hardware capabilities of the radio frequency device can be reduced, and it is beneficial to increasing the transmit power of the radio frequency device and avoiding overheat of the radio frequency device, thereby giving consideration to requirements on both the temperature and the transmit power of the radio frequency device, and improving the performance of the communication device.
