Abstract:

A method of controlling a washing machine, capable of suppressing vibration and noise caused by eccentricity of a washing tub, and effectively preventing delay in running time. The method of controlling a washing machine (1) disclosed in the present invention comprises, in a spinning process, an unbalanced position detection step (SP8), for use in detecting an unbalanced position (N); a balancer selection step (SP10), for use in determining a baffle plate (7) which requires water injection; a first water injection step (SP11), for use in, when water is required to be injected to at least two baffle plates (7), injecting adjusting water by means of a water supply valve (X) to the baffle plate (7) that is farthest from the unbalanced position (N); an unbalance amount detection step (SP12), for use in detecting a change in an unbalance amount (M); and a water injection switching step (SP18), for use in switching water injection from the water supply valve (X) to a water supply valve (Z) when the unbalance amount detection step (SP12) detects that the unbalance amount (M) turns to increase.
