Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for depositing a diamond film coating on the surface of a moissanite. The method comprises the following steps: (1) performing an ultrasonic grinding pretreatment on a moissanite in a nano-diamond powder suspension; (2) taking out the moissanite which has been subjected to the ultrasonic grinding treatment and washing same; (3) applying pressure to the washed moissanite and fixing same into a preset concave part of a sample platform, wherein the concave part of the sample platform has an inverse conical structure, and the top of the inverse conical structure is provided with an annular step; and (4) performing a plasma treatment on the sample platform with the moissanite, and then performing diamond film chemical vapor deposition to obtain a moissanite with a diamond film coating. The method provided by the present disclosure enables the moissanite with a diamond film coating to have the excellent physico-chemical properties of the diamond film while maintaining the optical performance (fire color) of moissanite. The surface hardness of the moissanite reaches the hardness of a diamond, which can greatly improve the anti-scratch performance of the moissanite.
