Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a method for determining a frame error ratio and a related device. In the technical solution, a sender sends N channel measurement frames to a receiver; the receiver determines, according to the reception states of the channel measurement frames, a channel quality parameter statistical value corresponding to each channel measurement frame, and feeds same back to the sender; then the sender receives the channel quality parameter statistical value. The sender can determine weights corresponding to the channel measurement frames according to the channel quality parameter statistical values. Finally, the sender determines the frame error ratio between the sender and the receiver according to the weights and the number N of the channel measurement frames. In the embodiments of the present application, different channel quality parameter statistical values can be obtained for different frame loss reasons, and a sender can determine weights corresponding to the frame loss reasons according to the channel quality parameter statistical values. The frame error ratio calculated by the sender according to the weights can accurately reflect the link state, and the effect will be better when the sender performs optimization adjustment.
