Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for calculating the distance or angular coordinates between a vehicle and a smartphone by using a sound-wave arrival time and triangulation. The method comprises calculating the distance or angular coordinates between a vehicle and a driver mobile device by using arrival times of sound waves transmitted from multiple speaker channels. According to the present invention, the distance or angular coordinates between a vehicle and a smartphone can be more precisely calculated using a sound-wave arrival time and triangulation.
