Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present invention are a method and device for constructing a software-defined networking (SDN) network. The method comprises: creating a virtual switch in a host; constructing a mirror file for a switch container of the host, and activating multiple switch containers for the host; configuring an external physical switch for the host, wherein switch containers on the host communicate with one another by means of the physical switch; and connecting the host to an SDN network by means of the physical switch. The invention can solve the problem in the art in which construction of an SDN network for a mass production environment under laboratory conditions is difficult, thereby realizing construction of an SDN network for a mass production environment under laboratory conditions with limited computation and storage resources.
