Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for controlling a distance measurement device comprising a light emission device capable of changing the emission direction of a light beam and a light reception device for detecting a reflected light beam produced as a result of the emission of the light beam. This method comprises: acquiring data for a plurality of images acquired at different times by an image sensor for acquiring images of a scene for distance measurement; determining the distance measurement priorities of one or more objects included in the plurality of images on the basis of the data for the plurality of images; and measuring the distances to the one or more objects by, in directions corresponding to the priorities and in an order corresponding to the priorities, causing the light emission device to emit the light beam and causing the light reception device to detect the reflected light beam.
