Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a gypsum board comprising the steps of drying green dihydrate gypsum (11) in a drier (12), crushing it in a crusher (13), calcining the crushed gypsum in a calcining furnace (14), crushing again the calcined gypsum in a crusher (15) to obtain hemihydrate gypsum, storing the hemihydrate gypsum in a hemihydrate gypsum silo (16) temporarily, pre-mixing the hemihydrate gypsum and chips (22) in a premixer (30), mixing and kneading the obtained mixture, water and various additives as needed in a continuous mixer (31) to obtain material slurry and slip-casting the slurry in a slip-casting means (32) to obtain a gypsum board, thereby manufacturing, with good and stable productivity, a gypsum board which is excellent in bending strength and nail pull-out resistance and enhanced in various performances.
