Abstract:
A method for processing an object, the method comprising: a step for disposing the object in a first portion that has a space and is for processing the object; and a step for covering the object with a catalyst including grains of a metal oxide containing titanium, and maintaining the catalyst in the first portion at a temperature of 480-550°C with the catalyst in contact with an organic matter, to degrade organic matter in the object. In the step for degrading organic matter in the object, a gas containing oxygen is caused to flow into the first portion so that a degradation reaction of the organic matter occurs, and that the catalyst is slightly moved in at least a portion of the surface of the object.
