Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a compressed-air foam and to a corresponding device. The method comprises making available extinguishing water to which a foaming agent has been admixed, and foaming the extinguishing water containing the admixed foaming agent while adding compressed gas, said compressed gas comprising a chemical extinguishing agent. The method and the device according to the invention make it possible to produce an effective extinguishing foam, owing to the inhibitory action of the chemical extinguishing agent.
