Abstract:
A portion at the tip of a shield wire (W) at which a metal foil (Wb) is exposed is inserted into a wire insertion hole (11) of a peeling jig through a center hole (21) of an insertion jig (20) located in front of the peeling jig, while the shield wire (W) is positioned in the insertion jig. Air is blown towards the tip of the shield wire via an opening on the other-end surface side of the peeling jig, and a metal foil is caused to expand while being detached from the wire core. An incision (Wb2) is made, from the side, in the metal foil (Wb1) expanded by the blowing-in of the air in a prescribed gap (N) between one end surface (12) of the peeling jig and an end surface (24) of the insertion jig, and the metal foil is cut starting at the incision.
