Abstract:
A method and device for switching an RDU, for use in quickly switching from a source RDU from a target RDU by a user equipment (UE), thereby reducing interrupt delay of data transmission during the process of switching from the source RDU from the target RDU by the UE. The method comprises: a source RDU receives first channel quality and second channel quality reported by a UE served by the source RDU; when determining that the first channel quality and second channel quality satisfy a preset condition and determining that a resource of a target RDU is scheduled by the source RDU, the source RDU sends a first message to the UE and sends a second message to the target RDU, the first message being used for indicating that the UE switches from the source RDU to the target RDU and the second message being used for indicating the resource of the target RDU scheduled by the source RDU, the resource of the target RDU being used for data transmission between the target RDU and the UE during the process of switching from the source RDU to the target RDU by the UE.
