Abstract:
Provided by the present application is a method and device for transmitting and receiving broadcast signals. A transmitting side is configured to set control information included in a broadcast signal, wherein the control information contains second control information for setting entry information of an application function and first control information configured with more than one pieces of second control information; transmitting the broadcast signal including the control information; a receiving side is configured to receive the broadcast signal; analyzing the first control information and the second control information from the control information contained in the broadcast signal, and obtaining the desired second control information from any one of the more than one pieces of second control information; and controlling the application function by using the entry information of the desired second control information. The broadcast signal multiplexes, in an MMT/TLV manner, video signals and audio signals of a broadcast program and the application function given to the control information of the broadcast program to provide an MPT and an application service descriptor corresponding to the high function of a data content service.
