The present application relates to the technical field of smart air conditioners. Disclosed are a method and device for use in air conditioner purification control, and an air conditioner. The method comprises: insofar as a purification function is determined as being enabled, turning on a humidifying module in an air conditioner running in a first mode, where the first mode comprises: an air supplying mode or a dehumidifying mode; and insofar as the running time of the humidifying module is greater than a set time, turning off the humidifying module. As such, suspended water droplets can be added to the environment in which the air conditioner is located, the suspended water droplets are capable of capturing pollutants in the air, such as dust, odors, bacteria, and viruses, and as these water droplets are expelled, the environment in which the air conditioner is located is purified, thus increasing the effects and smartness of the air conditioner.
