Abstract:
The present application provides a method for diagnosing microsatellite instability using a coefficient of variation of sequence lengths in microsatellite loci, comprising the steps of: searching microsatellite loci; selecting target microsatellite loci; detecting aligned sequences in single sample microsatellite loci; selecting sequences containing a microsatellite from among the sequences detected in each locus; calculating the composition and length of the microsatellite in the selected sequences; calculating a coefficient of variation (CV) for the lengths of the microsatellites detected in each microsatellite locus; and diagnosing microsatellite instability using the calculated coefficient of variation.
