Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a method for displaying information on an electronic device and the electronic device applied to the optical character recognition field in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The method comprises: detecting a first operation of a user on a display interface of a first application for first text information displayed on the interface, the first text information comprising a jump code sequence and being generated by a second application; obtaining first information related to the jump code sequence from the second application according to the first operation; and displaying, according to the first information, preview information related to the jump code sequence. The user can view the preview information related to the jump code sequence in the first text information generated by the second application without opening the second application, saving user time, reducing the complexity of the user operation on the electronic device, increasing the interaction efficiency of the electronic device and improving user experience.
