Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for distinguishing a container seated on a main body of a blender, and to the blender. The blender according to the present invention has arranged at the lower part of the container a light source module for transmitting a light signal, and has arranged at the upper part of the main body a light reception module for receiving the light signal such that, when the container is seated on the main body, power is supplied to the light source module via inductive coupling of a first induction coil arranged on the main body and a second induction coil arranged on the container, the light source module transmits the light signal corresponding to the container, the light reception module receives the light signal, and the container on the main body can thereby be distinguished.
