Abstract:
Provided is a method for drying a coating, said method including a step in which an automobile body (B) is conveyed while being exposed to a hot air atmosphere in order to dry a wet coating that has been applied to the automobile body. Hinges (H1, H2) and an offset member (70) are attached to the automobile body between hinge fastening sections (BT11, BT21) for a bodyshell main body (B1) and hinge fastening sections (BT12, BT22) for side doors. The distance (L1) between the hinge fastening sections for the bodyshell main body and the hinge fastening sections for the side doors when the hinges and the offset member are attached is longer than the distance between the hinge fastening sections for the bodyshell main body and the hinge fastening sections for the side doors in a finished vehicle.
