Abstract:
A method by which an electronic device including an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) accesses a network, may comprise the steps of: receiving application installation information from an external server; installing an application according to the received application installation information; determining whether eSIM profile-related information used for the installed application exists; installing or activating an eSIM profile on the eUICC on the basis of the eSIM profile-related information according to a determination that the eSIM profile-related information exists; and accessing the network on the basis of the installed or activated eSIM profile.
