Title:
METHOD FOR EVALUATING AND TESTING HYDROGEN EMBRITTLEMENT SEPARATION OF ROLLING BEARING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/065811
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This method for evaluating and testing hydrogen embrittlement separation comprises: a step for preparing a rolling bearing (10) having a first raceway ring (11) that is a rotating ring including a first raceway surface (11da), a second raceway ring (12) that is a static ring including a second raceway surface (12ca) that faces the first raceway surface, and rolling elements (13) positioned between the first raceway surface and the second raceway surface; and a step for applying, to the first raceway ring, rotation about a center axis (A1) in a state in which a load is applied via the rolling elements between the first raceway surface and the second raceway surface. The first raceway ring, the second raceway ring, and the rolling elements are formed from steel. The first raceway surface and the second raceway surface are constantly immersed in a lubricant across the entire surfaces thereof during rotation. The lubricant contains substantially no water.
