Abstract:
A method for forming a carbon-carbon bond, wherein: a reaction is performed by filling a container with a platinum group metal-loaded catalyst and having a starting material liquid permeate through the platinum group metal-loaded catalyst by a continuous flow system; the platinum group metal-loaded catalyst is obtained by loading a non-particulate organic porous ion exchanger with nanoparticles of a platinum group metal having an average particle diameter of 1-100 nm; the non-particulate organic porous ion exchanger is composed of a continuous skeleton phase and a continuous pore phase, with the thickness of the continuous skeleton being 1-100 μm, the average diameter of continuous pores being 1-1,000 μm, and the total pore volume being 0.5-50 ml/g; the ion exchange capacity per unit weight in a dry state is 1-6 mg equivalent/g; ion exchange groups are uniformly distributed all over the organic porous ion exchanger; and the amount of the loaded platinum group metal is 0.004-20% by weight in a dry state. The present invention provides a method for forming a carbon-carbon bond for achieving a desired compound by the formation of a carbon-carbon bond, said method having high selectivity of a target product. The present invention is also able to provide a method for forming a carbon-carbon bond for achieving a target product by the formation of a carbon-carbon bond, said method having a short reaction time and high yield.
