Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for improving the rubber spraying efficiency for a self-healing tire, comprising: inputting tire parameters comprising a rim diameter, a section width, an aspect ratio, a rubber thickness, and a rubber density, so as to obtain a use amount of spraying rubber for a tire; separately calculating the rubber thickness at the crown; starting a spraying device to evenly spray the rubber in a rubber storage tank to the surface of the tire; and finally, heating and drying to accelerate solidification of the rubber and complete self-healing. A control system is used to automatically calculate, according to the parameters of the tire comprising the section width, the aspect ratio, and the rim diameter, the amount of the rubber to be sprayed required for healing, and batch production of self-healing tires can be achieved depending on characteristics of tire products; the present invention can meet the spraying amounts for tires of different specifications, can achieve spraying operation at a time, improves the spraying efficiency for the self-healing tire, overcomes the problems of low production efficiency, low degree of automation, and poor quality control concerning the self-healing tire, and facilitates scale production of the self-healing tires.
