Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and an installation for stacking veneers to form veneer packs and/or for de-stacking a stack of veneer packs, during the production of material boards (10) from veneer packs (2) in a press (3), wherein the veneer packs (2) consist of a plurality of layers of individual or several veneers (4) and a parting plane (5) is formed between the veneer packs (2). The invention consists essentially in that, during the stacking of the veneer packs (2), the parting plane (5) between the veneer packs (2) is marked with a marking and/or, during de-stacking, the parting plane (5) is detected by means of a marking on or between the veneer packs (2), and at least one veneer pack is separated from the stack by means of a tool and/or an automated device (8).
