Abstract:
A method for installing an air inlet duct protective cover of an aircraft engine, comprising the following steps: a. inflating a protective fabric cover; b. the protective cover supporting a certain prefabricated outer shape to achieve the installation strength; and c. installing the protective cover inside an engine air inlet duct. The protective cover is installed in an inflated manner, and after the protective cover is installed inside the engine air inlet duct, the outer shape after being inflated presses the inner wall of the air inlet duct to be tensioned and fixed, so as to prevent foreign matters from entering the engine air inlet duct. The operation in the installing process is easy, an installing ladder is not used, and an operator can complete the installing process quickly, thereby reducing labor intensity, saving manpower, and improving efficiency.
