Abstract:
Provided is a method for loading raw materials into a blast furnace that makes it possible to efficiently reduce low-reactivity ore and to effectively stabilize the reduction state of ore within a furnace even when normal coke is used in a blast furnace comprising a bell-less loading device. The method is for loading raw materials into a blast furnace provided with a bell-less loading device that comprises a plurality of main hoppers at the furnace top and an auxiliary hopper having a smaller capacity than the main hoppers. When ore (x) that has a JIS reduction rate (RI) greater than 55% and that is loaded into one or more of the plurality of main hoppers is discharged and sequentially loaded from a furnace center side to a furnace wall side by a rotating chute, only ore (x) is loaded from the rotating chute after starting loading of the ore (x) until loading of at least 45 mass% of the total amount of the ore (x) to be loaded in one batch is completed, the discharge of low-reactivity ore (y) that has a JIS reduction rate (RI) of 55% or less and that has been loaded into the auxiliary hopper is subsequently started from a discretionary point in time, and ore (x) and low-reactivity ore (y) are subsequently loaded from the rotating chute during a discretionary period.
