Title:
METHOD FOR LOW-TEMPERATURE PYROLYSIS, AND LOW-TEMPERATURE PYROLYSIS FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/073711
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Waste is efficiently pyrolyzed at a low temperature without requiring complicated heat management and without using a large quantity of a supplemental fuel, while reliably avoiding the decomposition temperatures at which dioxins and NOx generate in large quantities. First, ash which contains potassium carbonate as a combustion promoter catalyst is introduced in a given thickness into a low-temperature pyrolysis furnace. A supplemental fuel is scattered on the ash. Waste is then introduced, and the low-temperature pyrolysis furnace is blocked from the outside air. Thereafter, the supplemental fuel disposed by scattering at the boundary between the ash and the waste is fired, and the outside air is supplied, while being rectified by means of magnetic force, into the ash in an amount necessary to burn the waste at low temperatures. The discharge gas resulting from the low-temperature pyrolysis of the waste is discharged to the outside after the smoke, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, etc. contained in the discharge gas have been removed therefrom.
