Abstract:
A method for managing a plurality of vehicle controllers, comprising: receiving control requests from vehicles (62-64); when available vehicle controllers (66, 68) meet the control requests, assigning the available vehicle controllers (66, 68) to the vehicles (62-64); when the available vehicle controllers (66, 68) cannot meet the control requests, assigning the available vehicle controllers (66, 68) to the vehicles (62-64)according to priority, the priority being related to the control requests; and for the vehicles (62-64) to which the available vehicle controllers (66, 68) are not assigned, determining, on the basis of both the control requests therefrom and the current states of the vehicles (62-64) that have been remotely controlled by the vehicle controllers (66, 68), whether to assign to the vehicles (62-64) the vehicle controllers (66, 68) that have remotely controlled the vehicles (62-64). The method can preferentially process, when the far-end vehicle controllers are insufficient, the control requests which influence vehicle safety or cause congestion to public transport.
