Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a belt comprises: preparing a metal cylindrical mold (43), a cylindrical molding body (36), a rotating mechanism (41) that rotatably supports the cylindrical mold (43), and electromagnetic induction coils (47a, 47b, 47c) that heat the cylindrical mold (43) by means of electromagnetic induction heating; arranging the molding body (36) inside the cylindrical mold (43); and, with the molding body (36) being pressed from the inside while the cylindrical mold (43) is being rotated by the rotating mechanism (41), molding a cylindrical belt slab (S) by heating the molding body (36) by means of the electromagnetic induction coils (47a, 47b, 47c) and pressing the same toward the cylindrical mold (43).
