Abstract:
Provided are a method for manufacturing a carbon-fiber-reinforced molding material, characterized by including a step for inspection for the presence/absence of a metal in a molding material by a magnetic-sensor-type metal detection method, and a method for manufacturing a molded article, the molded article being characterized by being obtained by thermocompression molding of the carbon-fiber-reinforced molding material obtained by said method for manufacturing a carbon-fiber-reinforced molding material. By this method for manufacturing a carbon-fiber-reinforced molding material, foreign metal in the carbon-fiber-reinforced molding material is accurately detected, and a carbon-fiber-reinforced molding material and a molded article can be efficiently manufactured without damage to a die or other problems, and the manufacturing method is therefore suitable for manufacturing of automobile members and various other molded articles.
