Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a disposable wearing article by cutting off element parts (C) from the webs (W1) and (W2) of a continuous web (W) arranged continuously in a flow direction MD1 and disposing the element parts (C) on a sheet-like material (S), comprising a cutting step, an attitude changing step, and arranging step. In the cutting step, the continuous web (W) is cut off at specified intervals in the flow direction to provide the plurality of element parts (C) formed such that the length of the continuous web (W) in the lateral direction CD which is orthogonal to the flow direction MD1 is larger than the length of the continuous web (W) in the flow direction MD1. In the attitude changing step, the attitude of the element parts (C) included in groups formed of the plurality of element parts (C) is changed by approximately 90° by turning the groups. In the arranging step, the element parts (C) are disposed on the sheet-like material (S) so that the longitudinal direction of the attitude-changed element parts (C) is aligned with the flow direction MD2 of the sheet-like material.
