Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce breakage of a film that occurs in a gripped portion thereof in a tenter stretching device. The present invention is a method for manufacturing a dried film roll using a tenter stretching device, the method having a step for reeling out a film from a raw-material film roll, a step for conveying the reeled-out film, a step for gripping both end parts of the film parallel to the conveyance direction of the film and drying the film, a step for releasing gripping after drying, and a step for winding the film and obtaining a dried film roll, wherein the method for manufacturing a film roll is characterized in that the gripping portion comprises a pedestal and a gripping part, the film is gripped between the pedestal and the gripping part, the spacing between the pedestal and the gripping part is smaller than the thickness of the film, and all end parts of a film contact surface of the gripping part that comes in contact with the film have a curved shape.
