Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an image display device according to an embodiment comprises: a step for preparing a first substrate including a circuit, which includes a circuit element formed on a translucent substrate, and a first insulating film that covers the circuit; a step for forming a conductive layer including a portion of single crystal metal on the first insulating layer; a step for forming a semiconductor layer including a light-emitting layer on the portion; a step for etching the semiconductor layer to form a light-emitting element; a step for forming a second insulating film that covers the conductive layer, the light-emitting element, and the first insulating film; a step for forming a via that passes through the first insulating film and the second insulating film; and a step for electrically connecting the light-emitting element and the circuit element through the via on a light-emitting surface that faces a first insulating film-side surface of the light-emitting element.
