Abstract:
This invention provides a method for manufacturing a laminate by which it is possible to rapidly manufacture a laminate having a metal pattern on a support, and by which the support is easy to transport in a step for manufacturing the metal pattern, without a metal thin film being left uncut. More specifically, the present invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a laminate comprising: a lamination step for forming a long metal thin film having a thickness of 1-50 μm on a long support having a thickness of 9-250 μm, and producing a long laminate 10 having a support 11 and a metal thin film 12; and a cutting step in which a back roll 32 on which protrusions 33 are formed is pressed against the support 11 to produce a bulge in some of the laminate 11 while the long laminate 10 is being transported under tension, a cutting roll 30 having fine recesses and projections 31 is, while being made to rotate, brought into contact with the metal thin film 12 side of the laminate 10, and the metal thin film 12 is completely cut away so that the support 11 is exposed in the bulging portion, whereby a metal pattern 14 is formed on the support 11.
